Kingsmill Kicks Off Wallace & Gromit On Pack Promotion

4 April 2011

Kingsmill, one of the UK's top 10 grocery brands 1, announces the launch of an exciting new on pack promotion featuring family favourites, Wallace & Gromit.

Kingsmill has teamed up once again with Wallace & Gromit creators, Aardman, to launch a brand new on pack promotion.

From 2nd May this year, the exclusive promotion will feature across Kingsmill bread, rolls, crumpets, muffins and pancakes. 70 million promotional packs of Kingsmill will be available to retailers throughout the UK. These promotional packs of Kingsmill will include collectable tokens for customers to claim an exclusive range of Wallace & Gromit branded inventions.

This promotion will offer retailers the chance to attract customers with a new and unique range of collectables which have been designed exclusively for Kingsmill and won't be available anywhere else.

The three money-can't-buy inventions include: The Rapide-o-Matic Preserve Dispenser, The Wallace & Gromit Holder Egg Cups and The Safe-o-Matic Lunchbox.

The Rapido-o-Matic Preserve Dispenser is based on the famous Wallace & Gromit motorbike and sidecar. A pot has been built into Gromit's sidecar to hold your favourite spread or preserve. You simply load up the pot, pull the motorbike back and it allows you to send your favourite toast topping zooming across the kitchen table.

The Wallace & Gromit Holder Egg Cups are available with both character faces and feature a unique soldier holder so that consumers can stack up their favourite Kingsmill bread for dipping.

Tokens from promotional packs will also allow Kingsmill customers to claim a The Safe-o-Matic Lunchbox. The children's lunchbox will ensure that Kingsmill sandwiches stay safe in the playground!

Will Ghali Director of Brands comments: "Wallace & Gromit are loved by families all over Britain and are a strong brand fit for Kingsmill. This new promotion offers an exciting opportunity for Kingsmill to reward loyal consumers."
